Device information and settings
This section explains how to access device information and adjust the device settings for the Flytec Balloon 4.
Accessing device information and settings
Long press
, then use
to select Device, press
About
Shows information on your Flytec Balloon 4. Inside the Device menu, select About and press 
to get here.
- Software version
- S/N: The vario's serial number
- PCB: The vario's internal manufacturing identification
Sensor correction
Over time, the pressure sensor built into the Flytec Balloon 4 may drift, which leads to erroneous altitude indications. This drift can be corrected by a maintenance or repair provider with access to a calibrated reference barometer. Inside the Device menu, select Sensor correction and press to get here. Use 
to adjust the value. Select one with or cancel with 
.
The correction can be set from -10.0 hPa to 10.0 hPa (-0.295 inHg to 0.295 inHg).
Delete all flights
Deletes all flights stored in the flight log. This procedure cannot be undone.
- Inside the Device menu, select Delete all flights and press
- Confirm flight log deletion by pressing
Factory reset
This puts the Flytec Balloon back into its original state, all data and settings except for the flight recording files are erased.
- Inside the Device menu, select Factory reset and press
- Confirm factory reset by pressing
