Battery type
Defines how the battery voltage translates to the the battery level indicated in the status bar, and at what voltage the low battery alert is emitted. Inside the Settings menu, select Battery type and press to get here. Use to adjust the value. Select one with or cancel with .
- NiMH 2.5Ah: Default: Modern NiMH rechargeable batteries, like the Eneloop Pro. Charging through the USB port is enabled.
- NiMH 2.1Ah: Older NiMH rechargeable batteries with lower capacity. Charging through the USB port is enabled.
- Alkaline: Regular batteries, can't be recharged.
Recording
Defines when the Flytec Balloon 4 starts recording flights. Inside the Settings menu, select Recording and press to get here. Use to adjust the value. Select one with or cancel with .
- In flight: Flight recording starts once launch has been detected, and includes the five minutes leading up to that moment. This is the recommended setting.
- TT34/flight: Flight recording starts once TT34 temperature data is received, or once launch has been detected, whichever comes first. The recording includes the five minutes leading up to that moment. This setting results in the log book showing the time the envelope was being heated, rather than the actual airtime.
- Always: Flight recording starts immediately after a first GPS fix has been acquired.
